This hotel is adjacent to Stockholm's Gamle Staen (Old Towm), which is very charming with it's narrow cobblestone streets. Also very close to the Palace, Opera House and is located right at the harbour, handy for ferry trips to the many islands. The hotel is older but in well kept condition and has a nice restaurant. more
Small rooms, but a nice view on the sea. A wonderful breakfast buffet and a small sauna with a planch pool. Nice stay with frienndly personal. more

When I was looking for a hotel in Stockholm, First Hotel Reisen seemed to have the lowest rate with the most ideal location possible. We chose this hotel for its location - which was great, right in the center of everything. Very disappointing because it was too loud, being on a main road with traffic all night. Great hotel in the old part of the city. Service was excellent and the breakfast buffet in the morning beats any 5 star hotel! Highly recommended! more

OK location if you want to stay in the Old Town. Hotel room is OK. OK breakfast, but crowded brekfast room. The free "luxury spa" is a joke. Small sauna and pool, but no shower!
