"Does what it says on the tin." sums up this hotel nicely. Small, clean, basic room for a reasonable price. Free internet. Decent breakfast in the morning. I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. If I ever had to go to Stockholm again, solo on business, I'd definately stay here again. more

However, inside the hotel was much better although there was variation between the standard of my room (looked new), and my friends' room which looked a little worn. Just completed a trip around the Baltic. Stayed in 5 different hotels. This was my only bad experience. And by bad I would say it was very bad. Staff were rude and unhelpful. I've stayed at some very expensive hotels in Stockholm (most right in Gamla Stan) and they were beautiful. But, if you can't afford that but still want to enjoy Stockholm, then Sodermalm is an excellent place to be. Me and my partner stayed in the bungelows next to he pool, this place was excellent value for money. The rooms where cleaned every day. Food allot to choose from. Going back to Tsilivi in June 2009 staying at Tsilivi beech but would deffinatly go back to stay at Alexandra beech hotel we loved it more
