Very nice hostel, the cabin was just big enough for 2, clean, cosy. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful view /I mean the cabins looking on to the City Tower, not the street/ more

When I go on business trips I try to avoid 'business hotels', to make it feel a bit more like a holiday. Rygerfjord fitted the bill perfectly. Although I don't think they advertise it, they have one single room which is available at a cheaper rate than the usual option of taking both beds in a double room (it is... more

This is a Hostel, the "rooms" are garden shed sized, with 4 beds crammed in. Bunk beds, and if you're not in a group of 4, there is a chance you'll share with strangers, which is common in hostels. Put up with it, or find a Hotel. What is place lacks, it makes up with excellent customer service, location, and... more

This is a small ship and the rooms are cabins, our double-bed cabin was very small and we are not used to sleeping in such a narrow bed. If you are at all overweight you will have problems doing anything in the toilet/shower room, at least if you end up in the same cabin as we had. Sounds critical but... more

It's a shame to see people giving this place such bad reviews because really I was delighted to end up staying there, it was very cheap and the location could not be better, a beautiful 10 minute walk from Gamla Stam. The rooms indeed were very small, I arrived in late and had to make my bed (while waking up... more

Stayed here a week in Sept '07. We loved the kitchyness of staying on a boat, and the price was very reasonable. Since it is a boat, you have to accept that the rooms are going to be cozy (okay down right small). But if all you need is a bed to sleep on it works. The staff were very... more

We had reserverd a double en-suite room. This reservation was lost (!) and we were downgraded to a double room with a bunk bed, with free breakfast and bed sheets as a reimbursement. The big problem was that coming as a couple you don't wanna spend the night in tiny bunk beds. Not a nice experience. However, the view on... more

I wish that there was a negative rating on trip advisor, because then we could rate this boat -10! Stay here only if you: -love sleeping in closets -enjoy the view of concrete through a sealed tiny portal (aka. "window") -love the smell of garbage in your bedroom -enjoy sloshing through cold water when you visit the bathroom -love waking... more

In October i booked 28 people into this boat hotel as it offered great value for money and it was close to the City Centre. We booked out the two hostel dorms which had 12 beds each and a room which slept 4. One of the large hostel rooms was better quality and it was located on the seperate boat.... more
