The room could use some refreshing. The bed was too soft for my taste. Towards the courtyard this room was very quiet, but full east so I was awake early The breakfast was very complete. The orange pressing machine is a nice touch, but a queue built quickly so I resolved to standard orange juice. My room was on the... More

I stayed at the hotel four nights. The room was well organized and was good for sleeping, working and relaxing. The location is close to the railway station and the local buses. Very helpul staff. The breakfast was not very advanced but tasted good.

Stayed here for one night only but could not fault the pristine state of the room and the delightful modern decor. Room had a small balcony with a table and chair which we were unfortunately unable to use due to the weather. Breakfast included in room cost in a delightful basement restaurant. Central location and would highly recommend.

Stayed at this hotel twice in May 2012 for business. Location is perfect within walkingdistance to everything this nice city has to offer. Rooms are nice. Have tried both single and doubleroom. The last room I stayed in looked like a cabin, and the bed in this room was just amazing! The linnen soft and comfortable and gives you a... More

What’s good about this hotel is the nice service at the front desk and it’s elaborate, although not very original, breakfast buffet. Good is also it’s location in the center of the city and close to the castle. The ambience of the hotel is old and grand which could be nice if it did not also mean that the hotel... More

I stayed for one night. The hotel is located close to the train station in the city centre. My room was a little quirky with a vaguely nautical theme overlooking a small courtyard looking out to residential apartments. You may have to close your curtains! Reception was friendly and helpful. The bar area is fairly limited and there is no... More

I like hotels with character; hotels that offer something a little different than the usual bland experience of white walls and neutral service. The First Hotel offers quirky meeting rooms for businesspeople and a reasonable (if unremarkable) breakfast. The hotel is clean and tidy, though the room I stayed in felt like a portal to another time, betrayed by its... More

Not all hotels in the First Hotel group are of the same caliber. This one is great. Stayed in a "deluxe" room (whatever that means, it wasn't much more expensive than the regular rooms) on the top floor. Nice clean, tasteful interior, comfortable bed, wonderful shower. Charming building in a perfect location, except for the dive bars next door. Especially... More

This well located hotel seems to have been renovated recently and some renovation is still ongoing. Our rooms varied quite a bit in size and quality. I incidentally had the largest room with the largest TV and a few other nice objects such as lamps and mirrors. There´s no fridge/minibar or kettle which would probably be a drawback for most...
