I stayed in hotel Muttern in Uppsala some years ago for a couple of nights. Both me and my friend had single rooms. Everything at the hotel was just normal- okay - but it was faraway from the city centre.And I love Uppsala city centre -just for walks! Also, it is a small hotel with little services, so not for businessmen or families with small chidren. As we did not have a car, this caused a problem. Being afterwise, I would have chosen a more central hotel and paid a little more. However, the value for money was good in this hotel. It was somehow an informal hotel, and when we stayed there, you had for examplee tea/coffee and biscuits in the corridors.
