The hotel is situated outside the city, next to the E18 (main road Stockholm - Oslo). SO the location is not very nice if you're looking for "city life" in Karlstad. There is a swimming pool on the premises, other than that - nothing in the nearby area within walking distance. Rooms, service and breakfast allright. more

Stayed for one night in April 2007. Arrived very late (midnight) but still greeted by very welcoming receptionist. The rooms were fairly tired but comfortable. Breakfast was okay but could have been better. Beds were comfortable. Personally I would look for an alternative hotel if I was to visit Karlstad again. more
