Although I only spent 2 nights here I can honestly say that it was a well kept clean and pleasant hotel. Local to the main shops within 4 min walk. Rooms were very clean and the service very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is also close only 5 min drive to Volvo Aero. more
My husband and I stayed two nights in this hotel last August. Quick and good booking service via their website. The room was not too big but it was ok for two persons. Big bed, soft blankets. I rated this hotel as "Excellent" because overall we received very fine service. When we arrived in Trollhattan, we were over a week into our trip and needed to do laundry. If you are going to Trollhättan I will absolutely recommend the First Hotel Kung Oscar. It have a great location in the city center and a secured parking lot in the courtyard. We had a small room but it was very modern and nice with flat screen TV, nice colors and with coffee/tea making facilities. I really like the choice... more
A nice hotel located close to downtown and restaurants. Really, there are only about 3 choices, with the Scandic Swania and the Hotel Trollhatten the others. Kung Oscar is much more friendly than the other 2. Especially better than the Swania, where I found a cold, unfriendly staff by comparison (of course, Swania gets you Hilton points). more
