Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel was far better than reviews say! Staff are very helpful and kind. They let us borrow a phone charger and helped us with anything we needed. Beds are very comfortable and the hotel is very warm. It’s a lovely 40min walk from central which has a lot to see on the way! There is something for everyone at breakfast! Has shops and restaurants nearby. Had a lovely stay

I got a Very cold single room with a poorly functioning radiator, smelly bathroom, over all an outdated standard, terrible pillows, noisy both from the traffic outside and from inside the hotell, the breakfast was ok, but with dry bread. Tv in the room only had five swedish channels. I found trash from the last guest on a shelf in the bathroom, The staff didn’t seem to be very serviceminded. The location is okey though, with a short Walk to the tram and to downtown. I guess the place is okey if you are there just to sleep for one night, but not if you’re intention is to treat yourself to a relaxing night in a hotel (or if you need to sleep well). And also; it looks like the firesafetyplan hasn’t been checked since 2016 according to the escape route plan in my room. No surprise that I won’t be coming back.

OK for one night only. Heavily priced because of Ullevi-concert, and not worth this price. Standard pretty low, double rooms are tiny. No charging poles for EV-cars. Rooms turned out not be cleaned at check-in, but we were kindly compensated in the bar for it. When returning from concert, we tried to get something from the bar (a beer) but we were 10 min late after the bar was closed. Tried to convince the bartender, but he wasn't very open-minded or flexible for the gig ( maybe because two other local drunk guests were arguing "the bar is closed") Breakfast was OK!

Make no mistake this is a very old and basic hotel. It has dated furniture and room fittings are probably that of the 1960s. That said the location is excellent being on a no. 60 bus route from Central Gothenburg. I arrived much earlier than checkin officially but was given a room so I could store my bags. Not convinced the hotel was that busy hence. My room was very basic but the bed comfortable and very quiet. The bathroom again was very old but the shower pleasantly warm. Breakfast was adequate with all of the usual offering. In summary if you need to be the part of town it is good hotel but there are much better more centrally.

Room Tip: Catch the 60 bus to Ingeborgsgatan and you'll be 1 minute from the hotel. About 7 or 8 minutes...

We really liked this hotel, as it was cosy and clean, which is always what we mainly look for (especially when it's so cold outside!). It is quite dated but we've stayed at even older hotels. We, unfortunately, had a noisy neighbour who had their TV up really loud and reception gave us another room straight away. Excellent service there. Breakfast seems really busy at the weekends so I would try to get up earlier but it's always mostly stocked up. The staff are rushed off their feet but definitely try their best to fill everything back up. Weekdays aren't a problem. Unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to try the sushi but definitely will next time! They lay out a table of free treats and coffee/mulled wine in December next to reception, which is a nice touch. If you get the Flybussarna from Landvetter Airport, you could get off at the Central Bus Station. You would then get the number 60 bus towards Redbergsplatsen and you need to get off at Ingeborgsgatan (buses have displays of stops). At this stop, you're basically behind the hotel. From there, you walk down the road towards the right, down the hill and to your right is this hotel. Only putting in directions as Google Maps seems to give complicated directions and this was our most used route. Once you know the transport system, its really easy to use it. Takes about 15 mins or so from hotel to Central Station.

Absolutely the best sushi in town. We had to wait a little bit long but it was totally worth it. Perhaps put more staff in the restaurant so that they can serve the customers faster. Overal their staff were welcoming and kind. Definitely going there again.

+Free sauna +Free gym +free breakfast +Best sushi in town! -small bathroom We were staying this hotel with my boyfriend and two dogs. This is probably best hotel for this pricerange you can find! We had only pleasant surprises, as free sauna (one steam sauna and one original one), so if you are staying, use this opportunity! Staff was pleasant, helpfull and kind. It was good that I was able to bring dogs with us as well to this hotel. Lobbybar/restaurant had beyond awesome, fresh sushi made by the hotel chef. Highly recommended this as well! Free breakfast. We came quite late, at ten~ish, but there was staff bringing all the time more food that was running out. Many variants, even for vegetarians. I am very pleased to our stay in this hotel. Only downside was quite small bathroom where I hit my head in the sink when I was in the bathroom. This might cause some troubled gor bigger persons. Also bring your own hairdryier if needed. Hotelroom had one, but it is very old.
