….was what I first thought. Never been in this area of Gothenburg before. On arrival it seems a bit of the rough. Getting in via intercom is new for me. Actually the first time. However, when settling down o the 7th floor. I felt relaxed and comfortable. Great sized TV, comfortable bed. Balcony with a view over the “Hood” No Restaurant on the premises, however the area have everything for everyone. No fridge, no coffee facilities (regrettable) Had to skip breakfast , paid parking at the back of the hotel. Watching tv from the jacuzzi. after long hours is that bad. All in all, price and value ad up. Will be back.

Our room was old and sadly also not clean. Dust everywhere. The curtains had weird looking stains on them. We complained and the staff told us that our room would be cleaned again. However, nothing happened! They just left everything as it was. We were very disappointed and also disgusted. We felt very uncomfortable. A bad hotel can ruin your whole stay. We will certainly never come back again. I stongly advise against booking your room here.

Location: The hotel is located on a residential street an easy ten minute walk from the train station. Check-in: The room was not ready as we turned up at 1pm. There were cookies and coffee in the breakfast area and we helped ourselves to that as we waited for our room. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Room: The TV did not work in the first room. The staff were unable to fix the problem and moved us to a different room. The room was fairly big but very sparsely furnished with no art or anything on the walls. There was no bedside tables or anything next to the bed which was not ideal. The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. Wifi: The complimentary wifi was adequate. Breakfast: Plenty of options. Cheese, ham, several types of rolls, bread, croissants, yoghurt, make your own waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon. They did run out of bacon during the second morning of our stay and we did not have time to wait for them to be replenished. Overall, excellent breakfast particularly given the pandemic. Overall: This is a nice slightly quirky hotel. Great staff! The elevator is tiny and not for the faint hearted.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your stay with us and how nice to read that you are more than happy with us. How nice to read that you liked the central location of the hotel, close to the train station and other attractions and sights around Gothenburg. A stone's throw from the Center. Great that you could enjoy our coffee and tea station - which seemed to be appreciated before you could check in. Thank you for your nice review about our service and helpful staff who were on site when you would check in with us. Nice to read that it worked out with the room and that you slept well in our beds and that you liked the bathroom. Nice to read that you found something that suited you in our varied breakfast buffet with our different options that suit everyone. A warm welcome back to us! Best Regards, Alexandra Guest Relation Manager

Hotel centrally located in Gothenburg within walking distance from railway station. The single room was spaciously enough. Everything worked and water kettle with coffee and tea was available. Quiet with no traffic noice.

The room and other parts of the hotel as well was not clean. The tables were for breakfast unclean exactly as at night. Breakfast was modest, not an level as we are use to have for this price of a hotel. Our room was prepared just for one person (towels, pilows etc.), even that we paid for room for two persons... Very kind was a fact that even in the late evening was available coffe, tea, juice and some cakes. The hotel charge cca 150 SEK for parking, but on the street you can park at night for just couple SEK per hour

First about the good thing location is near tram stop and one grocery store. Lobby has coffee and tea included. Worst thing was there was big gang of party people or fighters in the weekend they were fighting all night until morning and somehow worker didn't say them anything maybe worker didn't notice them. Party people didn't have respect for other guests here. Party people were screaming in British English "Oh my God!" and running around the street. I have no idea what they has exactly done but I guess fighting or even more. Something has happen here and it was something bad. Luckily there was no other people on the street in that night when they were running and yelling around the hotel and street. All hotels should always has some night worker or guard for this kind of situations. I felt scared because of those party people hanging around and fighting and vomiting around. There was a gang of them some of them had car under windows they wokeup in the night and daytime they slept. You can't behaviour like in some slum at here or if you can then you can but it's not suitable behaviour and totally lack of respect for other guests. This is a chain hotel and should keep guard.

This hotel is in old hotel and also the room I got was old. Hotel has stairs before front desk and elevator, it would be good to know before. There was free waffles at the lobby but too many flies around. I don't like bugs. Changing room for getting upgrade is with a fee only. Too expensive and also far 1km from the centre must go by tram.

Stayed two nights with my nephew (both visiting from Canada) to attend Global Series at Skandinavium. Location was perfect for us, 10min walk to the train station and maybe 15min walk to the arena. Found the room to be clean and the breakfast was more than we expected. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others visiting the area.

We stopped here for one night on our European road trip. Being Scandinavian myself I appriciated the decor throughout the hotel and rooms and the overall cleanliness. We had prebooked a spot for our car in their car park in the back and when arriving to the hotel they refused to let us park the car before we had checked in. I don't see why my partner had to holler at the front street with no parking blocking the traffic whilst I ran in to do the check-in especially when the hallway from the carpark lead straight to the reception anyway. The reception staff were not rude but a bit bland, no smiley welcome and seems a bit inconvenienced when I asked for more coffee at breakfast when it had run out. The breakfast was amazing variety of scandinavian delicacies with some hot foods to cater for the british travellers. Our room was quite large and had a big bathroom as well. It was modern and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the area quiet for a good night sleep. The hotel is in a quiet are but still in a walking distance from the centre of Gothenburg. 4 stars for the decor and breakfast. Would recommend.
