It was rather cheap, 61 euros, single room. I stayed two nights. The breakfast was good. A little bit far from the center (1 km) and from the university (2 km) but rather calm. The room was OK. Friendly staff.

Everything was bit outdated or nothing special, but room was clean and staff friendly. Breakfest was very basic, and lack of elevator makes moving with the suitcase bit unconvenient. Museums Arktikum and Pilke were very close.

Aakenus Hotelli provided us with the last (triple) accommodation in Rovaniemi, when we booked from Australia in the first week of July! The room and bathroom were both quite large, the hotel staff friendly and helpful and it's located in the main street, roughly 4 short blocks from the centre of town.
