When booking the trip we wanted the flexibility that self-catering gives you but with on-site facilities for food. We didn't want to be too far from civilisation owing to the temperature. We stayed in the smaller of the Ruka apartments which was extremely comfortable and clean. The sauna in the apartment was a real bonus and after -20 degree temperatures... more

Stayed at the rukasuites which were very comfortable. Had everything you would need.. 2 or 3 bedrooms lcd tv with lots of british channels, dvd player, two bathrooms with underfloor heating and the comfiest beds. The drying closet and washer/dryer were a bonus. the two bed apartment only has two rings and no oven so we were glad we had... more

Great apartment, compact but well designed equipped with a sauna/dvd/cd/dishwasher/ towels & bedding. Shops are located in the block and it is near the ski lifts. Only criticism is it has no oven which makes the self catering aspect difficult. If you are going to this resort you would be well advised to take booze and if you can food... more
