The hotel is terrible from ouside, a bit better from inside, but poor, overused. I stayed one night in a single room on the 5th floor. See photos. There was warm water, heating, some sampoo, a soap, a hair dryer. I'didn't tryed the breakfast. I wouldn't recommand the hotel. more

We are booking a twin-room in Arthur Hotel by the hotel-info agency in the airport. Looking for prise about 100e per night. Only Arthur? Where on the map? OK. Early I hear about hotel-problem in Helsinki. But I don`t thihk it is SO... Room No.703... When you up to 6 floor by lift, you need to have 5-min. walk in... more

The hotel doesn't live up to its description and is of quite poor standard throughout, especially as it claims to have been renovated in 2005. I agree with the previous reviewer who likened it to an old-style Soviet hotel. The room we stayed in was quite shabby (see pictures); wallpaper peeling off, mould in the bathroom, etc. The continental breakfast... more

Well, what we can say - definitely below expectations. Not quality for money. And really feels like you are back to USSR times with the same approach towards quality of service. more

The location was a large plus to this hotel. While not in the direct center of the tourist area, it was near the train station and in very easy walking distance of the major sights. The room was clean and a fairly good size for a European hotel. We had two twin beds in our room, and they were comfortable.... more

I had stayed at this hotel before. A well located, simple, comfortable hotel. In my latest stay, I found the room's bathroom extremely dirty (see the photos attached), the room uncomfortable, and a lot of noise from construction in the rooms in the same floor. What used to be a reasonable stay is now a hotel I would not recommend... more

We stayed 3 nights, had a very big double room with double bed and a complete sofa set (a 3-seater plus 2 armchairs). The bathroom is small and has no bathtub. The shower area is not separated from the toilet so the whole bathroom gets wet. Both reception staff and dining room staff are very friendly and pleasant. Near the... more

We stayed at Hotel Arthur during the busy Eurovision period. The staff were so friendly and helpful we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. They spoke perfect English, gave us really helpful tips about Helsinki, organised taxis' for us and made our stay really special. Even though they were fully booked and very busy, the staff always gave us... more

Very helpful staff. Good location for the #6 & 3 tram. Close to the railway station. Lots of people from tour buses.,well used. It's much cheaper to book thru the internet. Big breakfast room and lots of chow,no fried eggs tho. There are smoking rooms so be prepared for the smell. Post cards & stamps available. Couldn't figure out how... more

Arthur is a well located hotel right next to a bus stop and a tram stop. There is a direct bus No. 615 from the airport (35 minutes) every 20 minutes which drops you at the railway station from where the hotel is a 5 minute walk. The entrance is from the backside - a little confusing. The rooms are... more
