I loved this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was delicious. And the location!! Right in the heart of downtown Helsinki. The rooms were clean. I stayed at this Hotel twice, for one night at each end of a trip to Tallinn. The hotel is situated in a quiet side street a few minutes walk from the main Station. The only problem I had was in finding this place. It is close to the central train station but the entrance is tucked away from the main street. Travelling a lot I've never had a hotel like this. The room was very small, not very tidy (dust on my clothes when taking them from the cupboard). The bed was a joke, kind of childrens' bed, very small, not comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was o.k. more

1. I "survived" false fire alarm in the middle of the night in this hotel. Nobody said a word of apology neither at the end of alarm, neither at check out. I booked two rooms -one for me and my husband and the other for our friends in June. When arriving we received superior rooms, which were not settled for. This is why we did not know the rooms were superior until checking out and wondering the higher cost of the rooms and checking this out at home in the net.... more

Hotel Arthur are fatal place to stay.Hotel is oldand dirty.reception desk looking like on the cheap bar.Rooms are dirty.AC/DC was pick off.Bathroom are like in slaughterhouse (with dirty white tiles). Hand drier damaged similar like faucet. Rooms are dark with never cleaned windows. Location are good but better choice to sleep is Railway station. more
