The hotel doesn't live up to its description and is of quite poor standard throughout, especially as it claims to have been renovated in 2005. I agree with the previous reviewer who likened it to an old-style Soviet hotel. The location was a large plus to this hotel. While not in the direct center of the tourist area, it was near the train station and in very easy walking distance of the major sights. I had stayed at this hotel before. A well located, simple, comfortable hotel. In my latest stay, I found the room's bathroom extremely dirty (see the photos attached), the room uncomfortable, and a lot of noise from construction in the rooms in the same floor. We stayed 3 nights, had a very big double room with double bed and a complete sofa set (a 3-seater plus 2 armchairs). The bathroom is small and has no bathtub. Very helpful staff. Good location for the #6 & 3 tram. Close to the railway station. Lots of people from tour buses.,well used. It's much cheaper to book thru the internet. Arthur is a well located hotel right next to a bus stop and a tram stop. There is a direct bus No. 615 from the airport (35 minutes) every 20 minutes which drops you at the railway station from where the hotel is a 5 minute walk.
