I stayed at the Scandic Marski in June, and I have no complaints. I was very satisfied with my room and the friendliness of the staff. I had a double room on the fifth floor (Room 523) that overlooked Mannerheimintie Street, and it was spacious, modern and very complete. I got a special deal by going to their website. The... more

We just returned from a varied European trip and stayed at the end at the Scandic Marski in Helsinki. When we first walked into our room I felt it was slightly dated but soon came to appreciate all the extras that were offered from trouser press to heated baht floor. Later I found out that the rooms are all in... more

This hotel has a very good location in the city center, clean rooms and a nice reception. The rooms are maybe a bit small and a bit on the expensive side. 150e for one night, one person with a king size bed; but since the hotel has gone green, don't expect to find much goodies in the bathroom: one towel,... more

After checking out of Scandic Simonketta not far from here, I checked in into this hotel for the weekend. It is very much cheaper but everything is dated. The location is very key. It is on the main walking street of Helsinki and has a tram stop right outside it. The biggest shopping is right opposite. The tram brings you... more

We travelled by boat (Silja Line) to Helsinki and walked to the hotel. Took about 20 min. The location was perfect..in the centre of the town. Close to everything. The room: We had a big room.A bed for two persons, a sofa that turned to a bed for two persons and a childbed. and much space even when the sofa... more

Stayed in Helsinki for a trade fair and found the direct tram from the hotel to the fairgrounds very practical. Most central location imaginable. One block from airport bus and railway station, in the heart of H:kis shopping and cultural district aruund Esplanade and Alexander Street, facing Stockmann's the country's leading department store as well as the town's Swedish theatre.... more

Stayed at Marski in late July for one night. Got a nice superior family-room with hard floor, just as confirmed by the front office two days before our arrival. The room was hugh and clean and cool (thanks to proper ac!). Even if we were located on the 3rd floor, the noice from Manneheimintie didn't bother us at all. The... more

This is a very nice and well located hotel. Just at the end of the esplanades that start at the port and in the vicinity of the railway station. Nice rooms, clean and fairly big for Finnish standards, good breakfast and a always attentive staff, this is a great place to stay in Helsinki. more

The best thing about the hotel is the location. 5 mins walking distance to train station, bus station and harbour. Had an issue on check in when they could not find my booking, it took about 45 mins to sort. They had to call the company i booked through and as they were on the phone they found my booking.... more
