I would echo the concerns voiced below regarding the noise level at this hotel. Unless you are a heavy sleeper, ask for a room facing the courtyard rather than the street and you will be much happier. The hotel is very nice, in an excellent location, right in the center of Helsinki. It is a bit difficult to arrive (streets with one way, streets with no traffic allowed), but after arriving the rooms are very modern (liked the TV turning to the desk or to the bed), bathroom is confortable. This hotel has to be the best one I've stayed in when visiting Finland, so much so that I always request it when I can. I've stayed at several of the higher rated ones and personally I don't think any of them are nearly as good as the Sokos Helsinki.
