Delightful stay in a lovely large room overlooking the water. The buffet breakfast had lots of variety, fresh fruits, great breads/rolls, and smoked salmon. The Hilton Helsinki Strand is very easy to find from the airport and the city. You will be able to walk over to the Hakaniemi Metro stop where you will find the trams and a market of food stalls and gift shopping. I've stayed here twice in the last 2 weeks. First time I was in a 'standard' room which was nice enough but 20 euro for an interent connection and 25 euro for breakfast (and neither of these rates were vsisble to anyone from what I could find)!!!! Nice but smal rooms/ bathrooms, no noise from outside, no minimalistic Scandinavian design, a good breakfast in the lobby-restaurant, reasonably close to the centre and public transport is nearby.
