The Scandic Gateway is perhaps a unique airport hotel for the fact that the rooms are actually underneath the runway ! The location couldn't be more convenient for those arriving late in Helsinki or looking to catch an early morning flight, simply go down the escalator at arrivals and there it is ! The Scandic Gateway hotel is located at the Helsinki-Vantaa airport, just take the escalator and you are in the departure hall, very convenient if you have an early morning flight!
