Stayed one night there and the room was very nice. The staff is polite, WiFi works well, everything is clean (you can actually smell how clean it is :)), you have maps at the reception to move around. Overall I'd say a pretty good experience. There was a bit of noise in the morning, but nothing to ruin my beloved... More

Very nice hostel. Well kept and clean. Great location but could get a little noisy due to numerous bars and pubs. All the good sides of a hostel (down-to-earth, friendly, value etc) are hard not to notice whereas the negatives are kept to a minimum. Leaves good impression.

We spent two nights here (split across our time in Finland). The first night was absolutely miserable, with non-stop noise from the street (cars honking, lots of loud drunks, etc). Part of the problem is that we needed to keep the window open or the room became unbearable hot within an hour or so. The second night was better, if... More

This hostel is semi-centrally located in Helsinki, and is situated in a street with a lot of restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and there were good kitchen facilities. The reason I gave 2 stars is because the bathrooms were ancient and contained quite some mold, it felt dirty. The sleeping rooms smelled musty, and could use some... More

I stayed here for 2 nights. There was a nice atmosphere about the place, and the guests were friendly and always chatting to one another. Staff were friendly, room was basic with a comfortable bed ( i was on the top bunk). Nice coffee shop next door, and it is less than 10mins walk to the train station. The bathrooms... More

We stayed there for a morning and a night. Very nice place, clean and cool. The Australian manager was very friendly and all the staff we tlaked to were very nice and friendly. The price for two people is good considering Helsinki prices. We stayed in a shared room, 27 euros per person. The location is a plus, very close... More

Hostel Erottajanpuisto is a cosy hostel in the centre of Helsinki. The location is very good and staff friendly. We stayed in a 6 bed female dorm with my friend and we both really liked the place. I would definitely stay here again.

This location, price and atmosphere just can't be beat in central Helsinki! They have singles and mixed/f/m dorms in a gorgeous old building in the "design district" of Helsinki where bars, restaurants and boutiques abound. The bathrooms and toilets are shared and clean. Linen, wifi and cooking facilities come inclusive. For a tired traveller it's great news that downstairs in... More
