The service was great, the staff was very healpful. The room was the right size for two people, I had booked a room with to single beds, but there was a mix up and we got a queen sized bed which was OK. The room was far from clean, the sheets had been washed but had some permanent stains. Glasses... more

I found the tram to the hotel very easily, and didn't mind being a bit out of the way. I didn't find the dockside unappealing as some have. I liked the room and the staff were really helpful. I also like the sandwich bar - they are a bit aexpensive, but still better than paying a fortune in the restaurant.... more

In fairness, Finland is expensive, but €5.80 ($8.25) for a 33cl bottle of distinctly average beer in reception was a bit of a shocker. The acoustic chairs (£3,000 each according to a friend) in reception are classy and the giant swing is a great location to watch the automatic (outward opening) doors smack unwary visitors in the face. “Seaside” is... more

Recently, I was on a business trip to Helsinki and I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. This is a perfect place for a business traveller - has good internet connectivity, express checkout and a very good breakfast! Could not try the bar - but looked very good! It's proximity to the sea also keeps you fresh and the... more

disapointed with this Radisson, based at the edge of a working dockside not the seaside as described in the title, as a lone female traveller this was a little unnerving. corridors where a little smelly and the staff didn't go out of their way to be friendly the radisson group has an unflexible policys over 'extras' which caused some upset... more

I was on a business trip to finland. This hotel has nice sea view and a very competetive price - 99EUR per night. But what I did not like is the room size. Rooms are too small in this hotel. See my photograph in the hotel lobby. more

We stayed here 1 night with my girlfriend. What can I say. The price was something around 80€ during the week so it was very cheap. The room was nice and so was breakfast that was included in the price. The location is a bit of the center of Helsinki but if that's not a problem to you then I... more

It was nice to know that no matter how bad the weather (which ended up being lots of snow) I had a nice room to return to. My heart sank a little when I turned the corner to find a mediocre looking hotel in an industrialised seaport area, but inside was excellent. TV, internet access, kettle with drinks, warm and... more

We stayed two nights at the Radisson SAS Seaside Hotel in June 2008. The hotel building is a former dairy laboratory and cheese factory, and the building has a rich history which actually is quite visible throughout the hotel. The hotel is located a ten minutes walk from the city centre, in a quiet area by the sea. The distance... more

This is a nice Hotel and the Breakfast is amazing. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the harbour where the big ships come in. The weather was such we left the patio doors open the whole time we where there and enjoyed the view. The location is good; although it shows location out of city centre it's only about... more
