- was a bit worried by the comments we found generally online on this hostel, but our experience was amazingly good
- nice breakfast hall with music video showing, some hot dishes served, frequent refills
- we stayed in 6-bedded dorm for 2 seperate nights, clean sheets provided, easy to find toilets just around the corners
- BUT who would use the 1630-2030 slot for the woman's sanua?
- BUT prepared to walk for at least 15 min from the central train station more

This had the last room available in Helsinki - I can understand why!
This place is a youth hostel in the winter & a hotel in the summer. The double room I had was primitive (but it's cheap - €50, so no problem there!), showers & toilets are similarly basic & shared, but I did'nt have to queue & they were clean, however in a city that has 20-hours of sunlight, why do rooms only have net-thin curtains? This makes the room v difficult to sleep in & v hot in June. the beds also had plastic undersheets that made them unbearably hot. Breakfast was ok if you like stale rolls!

Location was OK (central).

I can't recommend this place - even at the price.
