Nestled in the countryside this family owned and operated hotel is wonderful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the staff is helpful. Stayed there with a group, which included meals, and everything was fantastic. A breakfast and dinner buffet was like home cooking and delicious!

Stayed here for one night on 7 April 2013. Family run hotel on working farm. Eldest daughter and mother looked after us very well. Lovely fried eggs for breakfast. Large room with wonderful view across the farmland to the sea. Thank you!

this was at least the 4th time we stayed at smyrlabjörk. we really enjoyed the stay - very friendly atmosphere, excellent breakfast and (during the summer) fantastic buffett for dinner. this time we ate a la carte, excellent fish, happy to get a nice discount cause we were travelling off season!

We stayed here slightly out of season (beginning of Sept) so did not encounter any tour groups here and the evening buffet was not available.
