Like so many tourist hotels in rural Iceland, the Fosshotel at Husavik is in need of refurbishment. The staff try hard but the rooms require attention - and better cleaning. Still, it's not expensive (by Icelandic standards) and it provides the basic necessities. It is, after all, a tourist hotel, albeit a weary one. more
