Positives: clean, comfortable, located at the end of the main shopping street of Reykjavik, with easy airport bus access from the Hotel Plaza across the street. Free, fast wi-fi, satellite television, refrigerator, coffee machine, two hot plates, pots and pans, etc.

Negatives: noise from people in the apartment above and the all-night parties from the street below, followed by the early morning street cleaners. Had a dodgy incident when we left a nice toilet kit of shaving and bath items but, according to the apartment owner (who also owns the Geysir restaurant across the street), the cleaning staff never found it, even though they couldn't have missed it, as it was hanging from the shower frame in the middle of the bathroom. more
