I stayed here with my husband in June 2011 for 3 nights. We had stayed previously in the heart of Reykjavik right opposite the Tourist Information Centre. If you are someone that goes to your room more than at the end of the day Id suggest staying somewhere else. It was a 15-20 min walk to the centre of town.... More

Great value for money with ample breakfast and within easy walking distance of all the sights in Reykjavik. Very helpful staff. Hotel provided us with sandwiches and coffee for our early departure as breakfast does not start until 7am. Nice quiet location too. Only down side is no refreshment making facilities in the room, although drinks and snacks are available... More

The staff is very friendly and willing to help in ANYway they can! I had seen pics and expected the worst. The hotel is very clean, close to town, and offers a good daily breakfast buffet. The staff was amazing! Sooo patient and helpful. The only thing that negative that I would say, it that the showers are about the... More

A friend and I went to Reykjavik the first week in Nov. The room and shower are small but for the price we weren't expecting anything grand. The hotel is in a good location 5 min walk to the main shopping street and about a 10-15 min walk downtown. Its a very pleasant walk you can window shop the whole... More

Fosshotel Lind was unfortunately not all that i had expected, but was definitely accommodating and a pleasant stay. After traveling all night, the hotel allowed us to check-in at 8:00 AM (because a room was available), as well as eat breakfast. My friend and i entered our room and there was just one full sized bed... which when booking online,... More

This is very central hotel in Reykjavik, rooms are fairly standard most have twin beds but the food is excellent and the staff are excellent. There is a tv in the room with plenty of chalnnels. The hotel doesnt have a specific 'bar' as such to sit and have a drink but there's plenty of drinking holes around. Great coffee... More

This hotel is walking distance to almost everything in reykjavik and is a 2 minute walk from the main bus station so you can very easily get the bus to anywhere further afield which makes it excellent for business or leisure. The staff are the friendliest I have come across in any hotel - going out of their way to... More

We stayed at the Fosshotel Lind over a 3 day weekend. We arrived at the hotel at 8am and we were allowed to check in early. The hotel is very close to the main shopping street and walking distance to most attractions in Reykjavik. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When our tour was 10 minutes late, they called... Reasonable price around 52 euros per night after 30%discount in the week days. But we stayed from Friday to Monday, they didnt charge the original price. Ten mins walk to the centre, the room is clean and quiet. More
