The hotel neighbors a small airport which is very noisy during the day. No problems at night. It is also a bit removed from downtown. They do offer a free shuttle but the schedule has some big gaps, at least during the winter. The do have a Thursday night bedtime stories which was very quaint. I really don't get all the negative comments from some of the grumps here! I stayed here for five nights during half-term and I loved it! The rooms were clean and immaculately kept. Unexciting for a city break, but spotlessly clean. A good half hour stroll, which would be fine save for Icelandic weather, but with courtesy buses 4 times each day. Breakfast at 1600 ISK and an unchanging dinner menu; neither tried. more
