This is a great budget place. Though it's a University Dorm, it doesn't really feel like one. There are usually four rooms around a common room and kitchen, with a shared bath. The location within town was great - easy to walk to food, shopping and whale watching. The room was pretty basic, though clean, and the bathroom small. The shower was terrible. Sunna Guesthouse is very convenient. It's just by the nice church, walk distance to the two main shoppings streets, Langavigur and skolavordustigur. The breakfast is nice. Coffee is great. There's so much to do in Iceland, forking out for a expensive hotel is pointless, as you won't spend much time there. We stayed at Sunna for 4 nights in March, and found it great! The location is hard to beat, being about 15 minutes walk away from most sights and also the wonderful marina area and old town.
