I stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The location is only a short walk from the tourist centre and is just up the hill (50-100m) from the old harbour - a great location. The apartment was very clean, spacious and homey - it is just like staying in a large guest bedroom at home with your own kitchenette... More

We stayed at the Three Sisters Studio Apartments for three nights in June, 2011. Our flight was very late in arriving and by the time we got through customs and caught the shuttle bus we didn’t arrive at Thor's doorstep until about 2:00 am. Even though the hour was late, Thor was waiting for us. We found the apartments clean... More

We stayed at the Three Sisters Guesthouse for three days in mid-May 2011. It was our first trip to Iceland and, I have to say, Thor is a great introduction to Reykjavik. He greeted us as the van from the airport pulled up and his infectious smile was a grand start to our visit. He continued to be a kind... More

My wife and I stayed here on our first night in Iceland and we rented a studio apartment whilst getting oriented before setting out for a camping trip in the southern part of Iceland. When we returned to Reykjavic at the end of our stay we also called up at the last minute (due to weather) and booked two more... More

Three Sisters is The place to stay for a great price. Large rooms, confortable, well furnished and great, great owner : Thor. He helped us with the car insurance during almost 2 hours by calling his own insurance and managed, at the end that we obtain the non-payment of a damage they the first refused to cover (although we paid... My friend and I stayed here to bookend a backpacking trip into the interior of Iceland. At first it was slightly difficult to find on foot - but the Icelandic language is hard to decipher for the Westerner so I don't find fault with the hotel's location. When we arrived we were heartily greeted by the owner. He was genuine... More

We (my wife and I and 2 children, aged 9 and 11) stayed for 3 nights at the start of our 13-night trip to Iceland (we were dropped about 100m away by the bus from the airport) and 1 night just before the end. We booked on-line and found it comfortable and reasonably quiet (we did hear a few people... More
