As a break from the noise and dust in Malta we saw an advert for this hotel in the Malta Times. We went with 2 young kids and loved every minute. Yes the bungalow was shabby but it had a superb view of the Med and you could literally throw a stone from the door into the sea. The fittings were a bit 70s but the staff were so helpful and it was nice to go somewhere not swamped with Brits.... more

I don't know what to say. The hotel surely needs some attention and updating to 2009. It is still 1970's architecture, furniture and finishings. But... (a) the staff are GREAT - 10/10. We went to the Comino Hotel for two nights. Last time we visited was ten years back. Not a penny appears to have been spent on refurbishment since then. We have had a fabulous stay at the Comino Hotel and would recopmmend it to anyone wishing for a gentle relaxing holiday. We were 5 adults and a 10 year old boy. We were looked after by everyone and nothing was too much trouble. It may be a bit worn out around the edges but we had everyting we needed.... more

We stayed at this hotel two summers on the run, purely because the location is ideal for scuba diving. The on site dive centre was excellent, taking divers out in very small groups on a rib from the small bay in front of the hotel.
