This is a wonderful place to stay in Malta. The town of Marsaxlokk is a fishing village, quiet and authentic. The Guest House is in the center of town, so has easy access to the local seafood restaurants along the water, the beach around the corner, and yes, the gelato stand, so memorable to our daughter. On Sunday mornings, an... more

A really lovely place to stay - a great location on the harbour in marsazlokk within easy reach of the fabulous atmosphere, the fishing market and the numerous excellent seafood resteraunts. Clean, spacious rooms with large, modern en suite facilities and very comfortable beds, as well as a little balcony. Excellent Service, a wonderful selection of food in the resteraunt... more

We have stayed at Duncan's for 3 nights. It lives up to our expectations based on Tripadvisor reviews. The room (above the alley, with small balcony) was spacious and clean. The bathroom was really big one, with shower. There was a small kitchenette, a fridge and a TV, and we have also A/C unit. Michael the owner was friendly and... more

We stayed for a week and became part of the family! Clean, spacious bedroom with small balcony overlooking the harbour with its old-style wooden fishing boats. If you want nightclubs with dancing and loud music, forget it. But if you want a peaceful holiday with good food and drink among friendly locals, this is the place for you. We're going... more

Anyone wanting to stay in a unique place, that exudes warmth and comfort, should make a reservation here We stayed at the Duncan Guest house in May 2009 in Marsaxlokk, a quaint and quiet fishing town with a fleet of colourful boats in the harbour and a daily market on the waterfront. We read reviews before choosing this B &... more

We've just been back from 6 days spent at this guesthouse and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Staff is very nice and helpful. You really feel at home. The room (more a studio than a room!) was very large, super clean, fully equipped (fridge, microwave oven, TV, DVD player,...), brand new furniture, etc... Marsaxlokk is a very convenient... more

Stayed in Marsaxlokk for 3 nights as part of a 2 week tour round Malta and Gozo. Marsaxlokk is a great place, it's "real" Malta. The little village is all set around a harbour filled with fishing boats and lined with some really good restaurants... if you are off to Malta, then Marsaxlokk makes a great base for a few... more

The Duncan Guest House is an awesome bed and breakfast/ inn in Marsaxlokk, a sleepy little fishing village. It's family owned and operated, with about 8 rooms and a restaurant next door. It was the first stop on our honeymoon, chosen to avoid the weekend crowds of tourists. We were promptly picked up from the airport and shown our room,... more

Stayed at the "Duncan Guest House", Marsaxlokk from 3rd June, 2008 for a week. The location on the harbour front of this pretty fishing village is excellent and is totally different from the main resorts of Malta. There is a regular bus service to all parts of Malta as well as the "Hop on - hop off" bus that goes... more

We stayed at the Duncan Guest House at Marsaxlokk during March 2008. The location of the guest house is ideal if you are interested in the culture and history of the island, being situated within easy walking distance of the harbour itself and a bus stop with regular half hourly buses to Valletta. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean... more
