Stayed at this guesthouse in early August. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a room on the ground floor with two single beds, bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. We spent 2 nights there waiting for our ferry boat to continue the trip to Iceland. I don't think there are many people spending more than those two days on the Faroe Islands, but since there is only one ferry company between Iceland and the rest of Europe, Faroe is a stopover if you like it or not. I will always remember my stay at Gjaargardur as a surreal experience. The house is located in the outskirt of Gjogv with a fabulous view on the bay and the mountains.
