I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Hotel Torshavn in June 2009. The 2006 review on this website is misleading because the hotel has now been renovated. My room was comfortable, clean and pleasantly furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very conveniently situated. The Hvonn Restaurant and the Hvonn Cafe , located within the hotel, are popular with residents and non-residents and provide a range of food. You can have a reasonably -priced meal or a more expensive one. The cost of living for English tourists is high. In Faroese terms the hotel provides value for money. more
