Stayed at this hotel on the first and last night of our week long trip on the Faroe Islands. So convenient to the airport and a base for looking around the island of Vagar. The carpark was big and level. The reception staff were efficient, neatly dressed and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were both very tasty and nicely presented.... more

I stayed here because I had an early morning flight to London. This hotel is about a ten minute walk from the airport in a small valley. You will see a prefabricated set of buildings from the airport--that's the hotel. There's no mistaking it as there is NOTHING else for at least 30 minutes drive away. There's a bar, small... more

Despite the fact that Hotel Vagar is the only hotel at Faroe's pocket sized international airport, security isn't what you'd call tight here - infact, should you be so inclined, you can stroll from the hotel to the runway without any trouble.
