The stay was quite good, except I got bitten by bed bugs really really badly. The worse thing was when I lodged a complaint to the hotel, the hotel denied the claim completely. They did not trust that I got the bites from their hotel, insisted there was insufficient prove, and advised there was nothing they could do to compensate... more

Although the location is very convenient (opposite the main train station), the downside of it is the terrible level of noise: do not think about sleeping with your window open. Three travelling companions, we were due to stay at Camponile Nancy Sud but after it turned out to be the wrong hotel and 30km out of town so we skipped the second night and moved on to Luxembourg and chanced it for a hotel. Walked off the train. Walked across the street to this hotel. Had no reservation. Got a room for 96 Euros. Room was large, bath was large. Everything was like new and squeaky clean. First floor room. Maybe they are finishing renovations or have changed management, but I was excessively pleased with this hotel. more

Luxembourg is very nice, particularly the historical "old town" area in Luxembourg City and the villages of Echternach and Vianden...but this hotel is awful!!!
