My family stayed at this hotel during a weekend. They found the breakfast very good and the room comfortable. However, on the second day of the stay, a Saturday, they left the room at 11 a.m. , came back at 3 p.m. after a walk to the city centre and the room had not been prepared. After my terrible experience at Grand Hotel Cravat (see my other contribution) I checked in at this hotel. Ok, it is not in the city centre, but Luxemburg is not so big. The rooms are nice, well decorated and the staff is friendly. The bar and restaurant waiters could be a bit more quicker, but service is ok. more
The hotel is conveniently located outside the hubbub and high pricing of the downtown area. The lobby is colorful and inviting with a small bar and the rooms are quite comfortable. Just came back from this hotel. Stayed there last weekend in July 2006. Good points outweigh bad ones . Good points: very good breakfast, friendly, helpful staff, interior is beautiful. Bad points: our room in particular was just tiny, micro-sized room, in the bathroom only one person could be at a time and hotel 's location is not a prime... more
Such a charming hotel, really decorated with a nice buffet between 18 and 21 hours with free drinks. Staff is really taking you in charge more
The hotel is small and very cosy with an intimacy quite unusual for a hotel. You simply feel at home. The rooms are not spacious but clean and well decorated. I was in Luxembourg last year and stayed here. They had an evening buffet, champagne, wine, spirits and all sorts of hot and cold appetisers included in the room price.
