Our first trip to Liechtenstein...we just got back from staying at the Landgasthof Au Hotel in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. It was on the main road through town, right next to the Vaduz AU bus stop, and a couple stops down from the center of town. We walked to town easily within 10 minutes. The place was small and family run, very friendly staff immediately escorted us to our huge triple room. Rooms were very basic but extremely clean with a nice large bathroom. We even had a small sitting area with a TV and a gigantic terrace. There are 2 rooms in the hotel (one triple and one double) that have terraces, and I would highly recommend requesting one. There was a restaurant on site but we didnt eat there except for the complimentary breakfast which included bread, croissants, cheeses, ham and salami, coffee and juice. Overall it was a great visit, and would recommend it for those traveling on a budget. Vaduz seems to be quite pricey with its hotels, and even though this hotel was not... more
