I am writing this review to perhaps give a balance to the previous review. We visited this hotel when stopping in the Colony Hotel, that was fantastic. This hotel is one street back from the harbour, but the sales brochures show the hotel from across the harbour where its 4th floor sign is above the hotel on the harbour, which... more

A lovley old fashioned hotel... no widescreen TV, or piped music, or games room or gym. Small, quiet, family run and very friendly. Good clean, comfortable rooms, with everything you need... nice bathroom, minibar/fridge, TV - we had a balcony and a fantastic view over the harbour. Right on the waterfront, with its restaurants and bars. The staff were charming.... more
