Whilst a good hotel and good food generally, I think that charging over £3 for a glass of fresh orange juice was a rip off. Enjoy your stay, but watch the bar bill. The bungalows are excellent, very clean, very quiet and very comfortable. more

After reading previous reviews for this hotel we booked for April 2008. We arrived quite late at night and were met by helpful staff who immediately arranged drinks and food for us. This isn't the Ritz but, having stayed in 5 star hotels around the world, we were delighted with our bungalow acommodation. The hillside restaurant wasn't open but the... more
I booked a family holiday direct with the hotel (www.acapulco-cyprus.com) for Sept 2007, and we had a great time. The kids loved the aqua park, and the younger one had a good time in the kids club too. My better half spent most of her time stretched out on a sun lounger, either beside the enormous swimming pool or on... more
it was a lovely hotel, fantastic place. it was peaceful and beautiful. food was lovely and fresh.. lots to choice from. stuff were lovely and friendly. all i can say is that if you want to have a nice holiday to remember for rest of your life please go there but if you are a real picky person then dont... more
We booked first two weeks in October - a sea-view room in the main hotel. Best rooms are even numbers overlooking hotel terrace and sea. Odd numbers overlook the pool. We upgraded 2nd week to a suite at a cost of £250 but it was worth it - superb room and views. Avoid the villas if possible - cheaper, but... more
It is hard to suggest anywhere better for parents with young families. The Acapulco caters for just about everything they could need. A beach, pools (plural), waterslides, creche, fun park -you name it the children will love it. I stayed here in August 2006 for a few days. The hotel runs a very cheap return air-conditioned bus service to town... more
Me and my party spent 10,000 + on a holiday to the acapulco - which included my wedding.... It was not a nice experience and i will just list a few reasons why. 1. when we arrived having paid extra for the sea view rooms we were all gien the wrong rooms infact they all had sea view but about... more
Spent a really enjoyable week at the hotel at the end of March. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the attention to detail was impressive (always an indication of special rather than average). The restaurant was buffet style but the selection was wide and even though the hotel was not busy, the food was still fresh. The room... more
Frankly, very disappointed. Following our return from holiday, we find that at least one UK holiday company has stopped offering this hotel and we are not surprised. Food was plentiful and reasonable, though frequently not hot and a little bland. Rooms ok and clean, but we were constantly stopped by hotel personnel checking we were not bringing drinks in from... more
The hotel is very clean and we had a lovely sea view room in the hotel. The dining facilities were rather disappointing as too many steps and not enough staff to cope with so many people. Food was acceptable. On the first day I went shopping and brought back a bottle of coke and a packet of crisps ( as... more
