We booked a two bedroom apartment with Cyprus Villages in one of their houses in Kalavasos village for 5 days. Cyprus Villages is a company which owns several houses in 4 different villages, each with apartments of different sizes and differently decorated. We chose an apartment in Takis House in Kalavasos Village through photos on their internet website.

The apartments are in restored village houses and decorated in a mish-mash style - probably how locals would do it. Although the owners tried to do a good job and have installed amenities which demanding tourists expect like good, firm mattresses, modern bathrooms, satellite TV, a pretty well-equipped kitchenette (usually kitchenettes don't come with ovens but this one had a full-sized, clean one) and communal pool, the building workmanship left something to be desired.
