My husband and I stayed at Kontoyiannis House for several days. The apartment was situated on the ground floor. It was pretty standard for a self-catering style apartment. The appeal was in the nice patio and village location. We did not get to spend much time enjoying the patio because it was too cold for most of our visit. I would love to see it in the springtime.

It was a little disconcerting to hear the cars driving by on the narrow village street just outside. You learned to peek around the corner before stepping outside the door. Once we became accustomed to the noise, we found it pretty funny.

We had internet access and satellite TV - although most of the channels were not in English. This is not a luxury establishment, but a very nice, basic accommodation for those who want to be away from the crowds and the hubbub of the city.
