My wife and I stayed for a week in March. It was wonderful. The facilities are excellent, we made good use of the swimming pool and sauna. There was access to the sea but in March that was a little too bracing an option. We went half board and the food was excellent each and every day, the room service impecable. The standout feature were the staff who were universally cheerful, courteous and kind. The whole experience was a real joy.

Fantastic vegan afternoon tea. An exquisite selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones made to an exceptional standard. The service was attentive and helpful and made us all feel very welcome. There were also several other vegan options available, both sweet and savoury. We will definitely be coming back.

We have lived in Cyprus for 11 years and didn’t know about this hotel until friends gave us a voucher for Christmas, OMG what we have been missing. Normally we would go to the 4 Seasons in Limassol or the Columbia Resort in Pissouri but this is way better. From the second you get out of the car it’s 5 star. Excellent customer service from ALL staff throughout the hotel. The decor is classic and sumptuous and crisp and fresh. The room was just outstanding with a huge terrace. The bed was super comfortable with a pillow menu ❤️. Every eventuality was catered for in the room, out of this world. We used the stunning spa facilities and I used the first rate, fully equipped gymnasium which was super clean and new equipment. Dinner buffet was a real surprise, not your normal hotel offering but a real extravaganza. Breakfast was also amazing. The only let down was the breakfast to go bag, we had to leave at 0300 to catch a flight and the bag contained a cheese sandwich on cheap bread, a carton of processed orange juice and a bottle of water. After seeing what the breakfast offered in the hotel this certainly did not reflect the hotels high standards. I would have expected pastries, fruit and fresh juice not carton. Perhaps something for management to look into. Apart from that an outstanding stay and looking forward to our next weekend break there.

My husband and I stayed at the Elysium Hotel in February, we cannot fault the quality of service we received from start to finish. We had a lovely room overlooking the beach. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed. The staff in the restaurants and bars were extremely polite and were ready to help with anything we needed. The food was excellent, a huge range of choice for breakfast and evening meal was top rate. It is perfectly located for site seeing, we had hired a car for the week and were able to visit various places of interest each day we were there. We definitely would recommend to family and friends and return there ourselves.

Friendly helpful staff. Great location next to the sea and many restaurants around. Everything well organized. I used the spa area which i found very calming and relaxing since is located on the ground floor and has a natural light. Large indoor swimming pool. Ramona gave me a massage and she was excellent. A true 5 starts hotel. The food was amazing for a foodie like myself. We didnt like Paphos centre and the food there and we were super happy that we took all inclusive at Elysium hotel. There are couple of pools and plenty of grass area with chaiselongs. The crowd is mixed. Also there was amazing live band with a singer on the beautiful terrace every night.

We were looking last minute for a week in the sun, no more than 5 hours flight from London. We spent hours researching hotels and narrowed our choice to either the Canary Islands or Cyprus. We chose The Elysium Hotel in Paphos based purely on the amazing reviews and they were not wrong. From the moment we entered the hotel we were met with such a warm welcome which continued until we left after a week's stay. All the staff, and I mean all the staff, were friendly, welcoming and looked after us so well during our stay. The hotel is AMAZING, beautifully furnished with a variety of areas to sit in comfortable sofas and relax. It felt really spacious but this could be because we went out of season and the hotel wasn't very busy. We had a lovely deluxe double room with a sea view and the bed (which looked bigger than a super king!) was really comfortable. The only draw back was the position of the balcony which was in the shade all day. We stayed half board; the breakfast selection was vast and the evening meals were varied, beautifully presented and delicious. Mr Andreas, the Restaurant Supervisor looked after my gluten free requirements with care and dedication. Nothing was too much trouble. Most days it was warm and sunny, averaging 19-22 degrees, but in a shady spot by the pool it felt a lot warmer. The outdoor pool area is stunning and the sun loungers are incredibly comfortable - it was too cold for us to swim outdoors so we enjoyed the indoor pool and spa facilities every day. The hotel made for a perfect early Spring break.

We chose this hotel on the basis of positive Trip Advisor reviews and the hotel lived up to expectations. The hotel is spotlessly clean and is very well maintained inside and around its grounds. The staff are lovely and oh so helpful. Our room was well appointed with a comfortable bed and quality linen. We loved the turn down service. There are lovely beachfront walks to the harbour. Good choices at breakfast; cannot comment on the hotels restaurants as we ate out in local tavernas (try Karlina’s a 5 minute walk away). Be warned on arrival at Paphos airport the taxi drivers are unregulated and aggressive and want to charge €50 for a ride to the hotel. You are better to arrange a pick up by the hotels retained taxi firm - this will cost you €30-35. You will need to pay cash as taxis do not have card payment machines. If you are feeling adventurous (we were) there is a bus for €2 per person which drops you off at Paphos bus station which is less than a 10 minute walk away from the hotel.
