All of the members of staff at this family-run hotel are very friendly and extremely helpful. Unfortunately, the very warm welcome afforded the visitor cannot compensate for the fact that the hotel is in need of some very significant sprucing up and refurbishment. Pleasant when you have a high room facing thew south coast. There's no mosquito netting (or air con to keep the doors closed) though and there are mosquitoes. Bring bug repellant. more

A Lovely family run hotel, just as it says on their website. At the end of August Platres is a quiet village that tends to get busy at weekends with local Cypriots visiting the Troodos hills.
