Some organisations are just clearly well managed and customer orientated and everything seems to work with no effort. The Sport Hotel Goup of Soldeu are just such an organisation . The staff are so friendly and efficient and they always seem to have time for a chat and a bit of fun. Our waitress made such a fuss of our 4 year old it really made her holiday. They offered her job making people smile and opening the doors and showing them where to sit.The Edelweiss is an apartment block across the main road from the Sport Hotel which sounds dreadful but really isn t, its just a few steps away and the road isn t too busy. Basically its an annex, all the services, reception, food, bars etc are in the Sport. The Edelweiss is not really a full apartment the kitchens are still there but they don t really function. The rooms are OK rather than flash or beautiful it s a little bit down at heel but they are clean and fine and there is plenty of space.The location is second only to the Sport... more
