I am American, but have been living in Vienna for the past year. When I feel the stress of city life getting to me, I book a weekend at the Schloss Weikersdorf to unwind. The hotel is great. We stayed at the Weikersdorf for 2 nights, mid-week as a break between Budapest and Prague. The town of Baden itself is quaint and this hotel is located in the historic rose garden, very peaceful. When we checked in we were shown to a newer building where the spa is and the room was very austere, Ikea meets Best Western.... more
