The Heritage Hallstatt Hotel is newly renovated and located high on a hill with lake views. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable with great bath and amenities. You even get an Nespresso coffee machine(a bit pricey). The rooms are accessible by stair, did not see an elevator, so the higher you are the more fit you must be. The staff... more

We booked this hotel sight unseen. There weren't any pictures, just assurances from our AMEX travel agent who was in constant contact with Andreas, the general manager. We were travelling through Austria and found the Heritage Hotel in Hallstatt. The hotel opened 2 or 3 days before and is completely new.
