we have been one night in this hotel with my husband for christmas market
Hotel is perfectly located in the main square. We booked emipire suite, whis is very large, nice room, with view to the square. Room have separately bathroom with bath and shower and toilet room.
Our stay was nice, but I think this is not 4 star hotel, because parking is on the street, 10 min walk from the hotel, breakfast is poor, is dificult to find reception and for the stuff from the reception you have wait, because they also operate bar.
Overal our stay was nice, stuff was very friendly, but for the next stay we try to book another hotel. more

The Styria is a clean and presentable hotel situated in the main square of the town.
The rooms are very clean and of a good standard. The style of furnishings in the room is a bit 'quaint' but OK.
The reception staff are very pleasant and speak good english. I was on a business trip and when I told them the company was I was visiting I received 20% discount with out asking....
The continental breakfast is good, but not as good a selection as the Mader next door.
I have eaten in the Mexican restaurant on the ground floor but was not impressed. There are much better places to eat in Steyr.
