Poor cleanliness (we stayed in the std room): in particular the sofa and the headboard of the bed were covered with an "electric" fabric that "captures" all hair... When we checked in we found previous people hair on both... quite disgusting. And there were someone's else hair in the shower as well... As you can see from the picture here... more

Come out of the train station, look right and you'll see Hotel Daniel. There is also a tram stop outside (tickets can be bought from the driver or in the train station, where there is a tourist information as well). It takes 5 mins by tram to get into the centre (15 min walk), there are plenty of cafes around... more

I must fairly say Hotel Daniel is a pure jem as a boutique hotel in Graz - the room was spacious and very clean for a 79Euro room. Graz is a lovely city during the day...a little dull at night, to be honest. I travel to Graz often for my job. Hotel Daniel is by far probably the worst hotel I've ever been to. I was there for 10 days and did not have hot water for 4 of them. When I told the front desk, they told me I was lying because no other rooms were having problems. Finally, someone else complained... more

Great and very stylish hotel. Rooms are not on the big side but well designed. Location is good, next to train station and a 15m walk to the centre. Staff are very friendly. Overall very good choice and not very expensive (we paid €59 per night per room and an additional €9 per person per day for the breakfast buffet).... more
