I am quite a regular of this hotel, which is in the countryside close to Graz.

Hotel is made up of two wings, old wing (not very exciting, standard of rooms is kind of old-fashionned ...)
new wing (large rooms with all the expected amenities)

Ther hotel has got a swimming pool, sauna which I never used but understand is quite popular among the locals.

Good restaurant, fairly large selection of dishes, meat, venisson in season, fish, good service although the main server may seem a bit arrogant ...

Excellent breakfast buffet, with good offer of hot dishes and cheese, sausages, marmelade, different breads, yogurts etc, served in a nice breakfast room with a plesant view of the valley and of the surrounding mountains.

Only severe drawback is the fact that the hotel being very much uphill, in winter with icy road it can make the driving fairly unpleasant .... but after all you are in Austria and should expect it.
