Having spent many skiing holidays in Austria, this was our first visit to Obertauern, the draw being the "ski in ski out" location. Just returned from a very snowy Obertauern in Austria, where the snowboarding was fantastic! The hotel Schutz, however, did not match up to the excellent snowboarding that Obertauern has to offer. Obertauern is a wonderful resort & the location of Hotel Schutz is quite good, but we would never stay in this hotel again. Our stay was ruined because of the hospitality we received. Third visit to this resort staying at the Schutz Hotel this time after staying at the Latschenhof and Wagner previously. Hotel Schutz nice large rooms with separate WC.
