Have just returned from trip to Latschenhof. Hotel okay but not of a 4 star standard as stated. Food was adequate but breakfasts left a lot to be desired as did the evening salad buffet which mostly consisted of tinned olives, tomatoes and for some reason cocktail onions. First trip to Obertauern and used Trip Advisor to select this hotel. The comments proved very accurate - the food was good qaulity and plentiful, with enough choice to satisfy most people. Staff were really friendly and helpful and room was clean and reasonable size. Only slight area of comment was room was very hot even after turning off radiators... more

Second time boarding in Austria (Mayrhofen last year) and we loved every minute. Preferred this resort for boarding as not as much hassle with lifts..though Apres ski in Mayrhofen was better.
