Booked through Inghams. This hotel looks good from the outside, but inside it is a different matter. To even get to reception you have to walk up an icy slope, through a ‘passage’ of shops then, up a flight of stairs to the reception area. Hotel looked good from the outside but after walking up the stairs to the 1st floor where the reception was located, It was obvious that the hotel could do with a refurbishment. Stayed in the Schuetz over Christmas. A little disapointing - from the external photographs the Schuetz appears to be a great looking hotel. Good location at one end of the town. Brilliant food and lovely spacious rooms with upstairs floor for our 14 year old son's bedroom. Friends also had great rooms. We booked direct with the hotel and they also sorted out the transfer from saltzburg airport. more
