This was my favorite hotel during my two week European travels. It is in the most excellent location. But more importantly, it has historic charm but with all the comforts of modern amenities. Clean, comfortable, spacious and amazingly adorable rooms! I would recommend this hotel to anyone! more

Very small Hotel, quiet, super clean, in beautiful Austrian style. PERFECT location, Hotel staff all very helpful. We had 2 rooms joining in the Festival Wing. Hands down this is the best hotel in Salzburg! While it is in a very old building (1407!) and there is a bit of 'charm', it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. We stayed here for 3 days in Feb 08. It certainly does boast the best location in Salzburg - in a wonderful quaint little street with the snow-capped mountains in the distance.
